Sunderland Play Park Appointment

Colour- UDL have been appointed by Sunderland City Council to provide design and construction management services for the completion on site of 13 Pathfinder play schemes throughout Sunderland and Washington by March 2010.

Working closely with the Council and to current standards of best practise, we are developing an exciting range of site-specific play solutions, based on principles of natural play environments, the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices and an attitude of risk-benefit.

Each individual project will not only provide an exciting range of play opportunities using a combination of traditional and more flexible, imaginative play elements, but also seek to enhance the landscape structure of each scheme, through strengthening local identity, improving links to existing circulation networks and planting frameworks.
