Tameside Building Schools for the Future

The project continues apace with Financial Close targeted for Autumn 2008. Following production of detailed drawings and as the team gear up for projects in the future phases, Jon Eachus shares Colour:Urban Design’s approach to delivering transformational school environments: “listening to school communities is at the heart of our approach. Through planned and creative engagements we facilitate teachers and students to be aspirational in what they can achieve in their external spaces and what they can use these spaces for. This approach, combined with educationally focussed design outcomes helps to produce transformational landscape designs that make the school environment the best place for children to learn skills and ideas that shape their lives”.
